MeMe Land
So much for the anti-MeMe policy I once held
I have apparently finally given in as I have done just about every Meme I have been tagged for since 2007 started
I was just tagged with 2 more so I thought I would combine them into one post!
First Heather tagged me with the ‘My Husband’ Meme.
I am to list 8 wonderful things about me and my hubby! Like her, I love to talk about my hubby so here goes:
- He loves animals. Specifically talking animals. He admitted to me while we were dating that he is a sucker for movies in which animals talk. Too cute!
- He wore a baseball hat almost all the time before we got married and now is rarely to be seen with a hat on.
- He is a morning person, even though he won’t admit it.
- He makes me feel little- which I love, because he is 6′5″.
- He loves to wrestle with his boys, and I love to watch it.
- He HATES it when I make egg salad and says it makes the whole house stink!
- He LOVES movies and bemoans the fact that we don’t get to go to them very often since we had children.
- He would love to have a girl and name her Indy.
On this tag I’m going to do a bit of a reversal. John has complained that some of these things have been sexist lately. So with that in mind I will tag some male bloggers to write on their wives. With some of your formats, this isn’t really possible, so I’m trying to keep that in mind. Take this as a chance to celebrate your wives and their unique quirks!
I’m tagging these guys:
John
Layguy
Neil
Kyle
Noah
Home School Diva tagged me for the Personal Top 8 Meme.
Here are the rules:
A. Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.
B. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names.
This is somewhat hard for me because I feel like you all know so much! At least of what I don’t keep private!
But I will try.
- I was private schooled.
- I attended a total of 4 colleges/ universities, and did eventually graduate
- I love cotton and natural fibers in general. I hate wearing anything that is uncomfortable.
- I have an odd way of speaking with my hands that sometimes looks like claws (so I’m told.)
- I am constantly licking my lips.
- I wear my emotions on my sleeve and have trouble concealing them.
- I come from a loud family.
- Before I met my husband, I had never tried and egg roll. He used his super-human manly charm to get me try new things
Tagging on this one:

I am so glad you decide to lift the ban on memes, LOL! I’ m sorry I’ve tagged you so much, I didn’t know you had a ban.
Indy is a cool name, is there a specific reason he wants to name her Indy? Just curious because I have a “special” connection to Indy (Indianapolis), I mean.
Absolutely no sorry necessary. I banned them out of insecurity because I do much better thinking up my own posts then having to answer a list of things I didn’t think of
Indy is just a name my husband likes. When I was pregnant with my first JJ and I went on our first anniversary to the bahamas and swam with dolphins, one was named Indy and we liked it
That’s right, you were on vacation when I was tagged. Anyway, that was easy. All done
I think Tieki Rae has been tagged a couple of times. Let’s see how she does. The National Right to Life has really been keeping her very busy, but she did just get a new laptop and might want to play
Yes I must have missed that!
D’oh! Do you have any idea how dangerous it will be to blog about my wife?! I may check out the other guy’s posts first to see how they fare.
I’ll give it a try, but this may take some time.
Oh but she is a giant mystery to us! I love hearing about my male blogger friends wives! IRL I’m used to being friends with the wives while my husband is friends with the husband… So I like hearing about the great women behind you great men!
I just think it is hilarious that Neil got tagged again. Apparently Neil, people are not buying your claim that you’re boring
thanks for playing along:-) I am a #6 too!
No problem it was fun! Thanks for tagging me!
I finally did the Girl Blogger Awards!! Love you! Thanks for all the prayers for Davis. You can be praying now b/c we are praying about traveling to see him and bringing along 3 couples who might consider sponsoring the orphanage.
Love you,
Bran
Very cool! Will be praying.
Cool I love to read Meme’s!
Well Good!

Ok Zabs - done. But if I die, you better come to my funeral!
It would be fun to take the family to Australia. Long hours in the plane with the kids though!
6′5”!?!? WOW!!! He would tower over me.
Those were fun! I’m glad you lifted your ban as well (I also didn’t know it existed though!)
