Terri Shiavo Died
Filed Under Uncategorized | 2 Comments
Her suffering from Starvation enforced by the courts is over.
Her blood is the hands of her “husband” and those judges.
The judges have had the blood of many on their hands.
Countless babies’ souls murdered with their permission.
I feel sick.
I am saddened.

PS- the Vatican released a statemant that the death of Terri is an attack against God. I am not Catholic, but I agree completely.

What in the World is Wrong With Florida?
Filed Under Uncategorized | 2 Comments
I love Florida. I love living here. I walk out into an 80 degree day in March with a grin on my face- I love this place.
What bugs me about this place? IT IS VIOLENT! Literally, I watch National news all day long on and off and Florida is always on it for someone slaying a bunch of people and sexual predators! There is at least one thing a week. With the Jessica Lunsford case they said there were 50 registered sex offenders in a 5-mile radium of her house! This morning a little girl 30 minutes from here called 9-1-1 because she awoke to finding murdered parents. People here are going ballistic!
I’m traveling home north on i4 a few times a week. Every time I have at least 3 series of car races (toward Daytona) happening around me. No exaggeration at all. These people don’t seem to get pulled over, but I managed to get a ticket for not coming to a complete stop at an iffy street sign?
I love Jeb Bush- I think he is a great guy. Previously I would have thought him a good possible candidate for the Presidency. But I suppose he has to bear some of the responsibility for it being out of control here. Why can’t he do for Florida what Juliani did for NYC?
The Judges are out of control as well. They keep letting criminals out. They are so in favor of criminals it is bizarre, but against people like Terri Shiavo. I think we need the 3-strikes law here. I’m sick of hearing of little girl after little girl here being sexually assaulted then killed by some sex offender that has a mile long rap sheet. What are these criminals doing on the street? Can we not afford to keep them in prison? I’m not saying they have to be killed (that is another topic) but GOD GET THEM OFF THE STREET!!! With our new house I desperately want to build a concrete privacy fence because I don’t want some sick man watching my little boy play and lust after him. There are so many sex offenders here!
I don’t know what I can do. I don’t know how to raise a fuss. I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about this. I don’t know where to start, but I have to say or do something!
On another note- my friend Meridith showed up on Tuesday and left today! It was so good to see here. What serendipity. It is great to have a friend that doesn’t ever feel far away.

Happy Easter
Filed Under Uncategorized | 1 Comment
Well, for now we only have a couple Easter pictures from JJ’s phone. The rest we had to take with an old school camera. So when I take them to get developed I will get them put to disk and upload!
Today was great. We went to a later service at Discovery Church. I like late service because I’m not so out of it! I really am not coherent till noon. I mean, I am up before that, just not coherent. Owen did great in nursery (he usually does) he was the only boy
Then we found a great restaurant called Italian Chop House. The photo is from there.
After that we went down to where my grandfather was staying and just hung around while Owen napped. My Uncle Jim was in town as well. We had Easter dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Very nice. It was sad to say goodbye to Grandpa because he leaves town tomorrow. It was nice having family near.
We stopped by a club our friend Pigeon was performing at on the way home (I dropped Jeff off) I said hi to Cameron and Maya and Pigeon’s wife Harmony then went home like a responsible mommy and put Owen to bed. I really wished I could have seen the show. But Owen is well worth the sacrifice
I love that little guy.
Anyway, all the ho-hum details of my life.
I loved church today. Worship was good. It was nice to celebrate Easter.

Owen is doing much better. His little crawling issue lasted for a couple hours then went away- who knows? He is however acquiring a habit of waking up at 6am. An idea I am not a fan of. Thank God I can just give him a bottle and he will usually go back to sleep. But that 6 o’clock hour just feels awful
Hopscotch Honey has been having the same issues. I know he is getting enough to eat at night cause he eats like a horse!!! I keep him up later, and he still is getting up at the same time. All I can think of is that it is starting to be light earlier.
Last night our friends Cameron and Maya were so sweet to let us use their Magic (basketball) Season tickets and watch Owen! Maya took the pic on the left with her digital phone. They are so sweet to Owen and practically treat him as their own. It is so nice to have friends like that! God is good.
If you get a second check out my cousin, Jordan Scott’s, blog. I linked it under family. Also, keep him in your prayers. He is in Antigua roughing it with his good friend Zach. On the weekends they are working at an orphanage. Please pray for thier safety (they are the “rich americans”). Also pray for Jordan that He will have a better idea of direction when he gets back to the states in a couple months. He is in that place most of us were in our early 20s…Trying to figure it out. Pray he feels God’s closeness during this time and will have a lot of faith and hope that he is going somewhere.
Blessings!

Moody Child
Filed Under Uncategorized | 2 Comments
I have a very moody child this morning. When he first woke up he could barely hold his head up? I was worried something was wrong. He would crawl and end up planting his face, then of course start screaming. He seems to be over that. But right now he will be fine for a bit then just look at me and start crying. He must be in pain or something. Poor little guy.
It is funny though because for some reason I woke up really melencholy. I haven’t woken up feeling so strongly depressed in awhile. I didn’t have long to be in that state though because Owen woke up upset. Kinda of a blessing I guess. Get my mind off me ![]()

Silence?
Filed Under Uncategorized | 6 Comments
Owen is asleep. Jeff is asleep. Fox News is off. No dishwasher running. No washer or dryer spinning. No traffic noise. I think I actually hear ringing- in my ears. This is bizarre. Just the ringing and the click of me typing on my computer. It actually hurts my ears. I guess it would be a good time to get some sleep. But I think I am starting to get used to the silence and think I may just soak in it a bit. It doesn’t happen much. And I know as I have more kids and get involved in more things it will probably happen less and less. I think I will sign off and just listen for a bit. Maybe God is in this silence.

We welcomed a new nephew to the world today!
Jackson William Hayes was born this morning. He weighed 10 lbs 14 oz. Yes- You read that right. He made Owen’s birthweight (9lbs, 11oz.) seem SMALL!
As you can see from the photo, he doesn’t look like a newborn! Mom (Janis) is doing great. Baby is in ICU being watched because he has had some fluid in his lungs. The Dr’s say this is not uncommon for C-section babies… but still say a prayer for him that he will be fine.
We can’t wait to meet you Jackson!
